Sacred bull

This work was created in anticipation of the Year of the White Metal Ox - a powerful symbol of resilience, transformation, and renewal. It became my 300th painting, marking a personal milestone in my creative journey.
This work captures the sacred essence and raw energy of the bull - an animal revered in many ancient cultures as a symbol of strength, protection, and fertility. The silver circle behind it evokes the moon or a halo, emphasizing the bull’s mythical, almost divine status.
Painted in motion, the bull is both powerful and graceful, embodying wild freedom and a spiritual presence. The dusty ground beneath his hooves hints at the earthly plane, while the glowing background connects him to something greater - timeless and eternal.
