Tucker

This ink drawing was done for an 8x8" show, while I stayed with some friends in 2019. It is of their beloved Labrador "Tucker", who is gone now. I took the picture one morning when he was sitting on the end of the bed looking at me with those big lovable eyes. I wanted to capture that expectant look he had when I sat up, as if to say, "We're going to go do something now, yes?" I spent the next few days drawing from the photo, as the big goof would hardly sit still for long, unless he was sleeping. The original has sold, but prints are still available.
