I created "Rockie" with oils on linen canvas. I was inspired when seeing this amazing german shepherd and the incredible bond he had with his friend and owner. You could see the love in his eyes that he had for her, it was truly heart warming. It moved me to want to capture that emotion and his beauty on canvas as moments like that are fleeting and special.
